Highly trained inspection personnel perform first article inspections to customer requirements. We have various types of inspection equipment including two Multi Measure 5000 machines, Micro-Vu comparator, hardness tester, surface plate with fixture blocks, height gauges, run-out dials, micrometers, and other instruments to ensure first article and other inspections are performed correctly and accurately.

Our state of the art Multi Measure 5000 machines utilize non-contact CMM tube inspection technology to accurately inspect parts to within +/- 0.0005”. These inspection machines are directly linked to the tube/pipe benders and facilitate the forming process set-up. Once the first-off bending process is complete, we scan the formed part to verify all surface profiles are within specified tolerances. If any section of the part is out of tolerance, the computer will automatically recalculate the bend program, compensating for material spring back, and download it to the bending equipment for accurate re-fabrication to specification. This allows us to verify set-up prior to full production, minimize set-up time, and minimize scrap and inefficiencies.
